Low Carb Garlic Bread Loaf Recipe


Looking for a low carb homemade bread loaf? For those grilled sandwich moments sipping on some tomato soup? Look no further dear! I have it!! I created this loaf because I was looking for something full with flavor but would go with anything. Like cheese...grilled cheese sandwiches!! Yum! Dip it in your favorite soup on a cold fall or winter night. Or just lather some butter on it and call it a day. Whatever you want!

Low Carb Garlic Bread Loaf

18 - 15 grams of carbs per slice

Ingredients

1 cup warm water

2 tsp dry active yeast

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cups All purpose flour

2 cups Almond meal flour

2 eggs

1 tsp sea salt, fine

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tsp granulated onion

2 minced garlic cloves

Directions:

Preheat oven at 400F

1. In a mixing bowl, mix the warm water with the yeast. Whisk until its dissolve. Add the olive oil and eggs until just combined.

2. Fold in both flours, salt, garlic, granulated onion, and baking soda. Mix until it forms a sticky dough.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm spot. Let the dough rest for 1 hour.

4. Grease a bread loaf pan and place the dough evenly in to the pan. If it sticks to your fingers. Just wet your finger tips with water and press evenly down.

5. Cover the loaf with plastic wrap again and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

6. Place the loaf in to the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes or until the top is medium golden brown. Let it cool and take out of pans. Slice 12- 14 slices of bread.

Enjoy it with a deli sandwich or in a panini press hot sandwich! Or make garlic cheese bread slices! Whatever you prefer!
