Butterscotch Orange Hot Apple Cider

Nothing like walking in to a kitchen or home filled with sweet smells of apples and cinnamon!
Try this different version of apple cider with some fresh oranges and homemade dairy free butterscotch!

Butterscotch Orange Hot Apple Cider

Ready in 2 1/2 hours
Serves 8
Ingredients
8 cups unfiltered apple cider juice
1 fresh squeeze orange juice
2 tsp orange zest
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole allspice
1 tsp whole cloves
Preparation
In a large pot, pour the apple cider in.
Add the fresh squeeze orange juice, zest, dairy free butterscotch sauce, and cinnamon sticks. ** Make the homemade butterscotch by clicking here or in the ingredients section
In a cheese cloth or large tea pod add the whole allspice and the whole cloves. Make sure it’s securely closed and placed in the apple cider.
On medium heat to high heat raise the juice till it’s almost boiling. Then lower the temperature to low. Let it simmer for 1 to 2 hours. Serve hot!
