Dairy Free Chantilly Cream (Whip Cream)

You got to have some whip cream on your pie! Right? It's not the same without it!


Here's a delicious and flavorful Chantilly cream that you can add to your next dessert. Naturally sweetened with pure maple syrup. It would be great as a filling or dip fresh fruit in it!


It's not only dairy free its soy free, grain free, and egg free! If you are allergic to dairy or know someone who is this would be a great substitute for it!




Dairy Free Chantilly Cream

Gluten free | Soy free | Egg free


Ready in 10 minutes

Serves 6



Ingredients

1 can 13.6 oz coconut cream, cold

¼ cup pure maple syrup or raw honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp xanthan gum


Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the coconut cream, maple syrup, and the vanilla extract.

  2. With your hand mixer or your stand alone mixer, with a whisk attachment on high speed start to whip your cream.

  3. When it starts to thicken, turn down your speed to medium to slow and slowly sprinkle in the xanthan gum as you blend.

  4. Then on high speed continue to whisk until it’s smooth and fluffy. Chill and enjoy!





Tip:

If you want the whip cream to be thicker just add another 1 tsp of xanthan gum. Make sure as you add the gum you continue to whisk as you slowly pour it in. This will prevent any lumps in your cream.
