Healthy Honey Oat Cereal Mix


Well, I ran out of cereal and I thought why not make my own! So I created this easy and delicious cereal mix that you and your whole family will enjoy! It has no process sugar or any added preservatives. It's usually what I had in my pantry and it worked out great!





Healthy Honey Oat Cereal

Makes about 2 - 32 oz mason jars


Ingredients


2 cups old fashion oats

1/2 cup golden raisins

1/2 cup chopped almonds, toasted

1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

1 cup almond flour

1/2 cup raw unfiltered honey

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 pinches of sea salt



Directions:


Preheat oven to 350F

Parchment lined baking sheet pan.

  1. On a baking sheet pan, evenly place your chopped almonds down. Bake them for 5 minutes, until lightly toasted. Set aside until they cool down.

  2. In a mixing bowl, place your oats, raisins, coconut, almond flour, cinnamon, and sea salt. Mix until completely combined. Then add the cool almonds.

  3. Mix in the raw honey until its evenly combined with the cereal.

  4. Place the cereal on the sheet pan. Make sure you have it evenly spread out. Bake on each side for 10 minutes or until lightly golden on top of the cereal. Let it cool and enjoy your next bowl of cereal!

It's great to store them in a couple mason jars or a plastic bag. Which ever you prefer!
