Just because you're on a low carb or Keto diet, doesn't mean you can't have your favorite desserts. I will show you how to make a traditional tiramisu but without the alcohol. It's super easy and whole lot healthier than the regular tiramisu. It's low carbs, gluten free, and sugar free! Plus, it really does taste amazing!! With it only has 7.80 grams net carb in each small glass size!
Low carb & Keto Tiramisu
7.80 grams net carb
Yields: 4 small glass size tiramisu
Ingredients
12 Keto sponge cookies click here for recipe
1 batch Mascarpone Cream click here for recipe
Coffee Simple Syrup click here for recipe
Cocoa powder to dust on top
Directions:
1. In a small drinking glass (8 fl oz), take one sponge cookie and tare it up and place it in the bottom of the cup.

2. Drizzle the coffee simple syrup over the sponge cake. You want to make sure the cake absorbs all the coffee simple syrup.

3. Spoon a dollop or pipe the mascarpone cream on top of the soaked sponge cake. About 1/2" to 1" thick.

4. Take another sponge cookie and tare it up and place it over the cream. Drizzle again the simple syrup over the sponge cake. This may require 2 to 3 sponge cookies to make the 2 layers.
5. Spoon a dollop or pipe the mascarpone cream on top of the soaked sponge cake. About 1/2" to 1" thick. Take a butter knife or off set spatula and smooth the top.

Sprinkle cocoa powder on top. Chill. Let the tiramisu set overnight for the best results. It let's the flavors mellow.

Decorate with sugar free chocolate or some low carb fruit like raspberries or strawberries.

It was really tasty and it wasn't too rich. It would be a perfect dessert after a large meal. Enjoy!
