Low Carb & Keto- Friendly Chili



It's starting to get cold and the leaves are falling. It's now the time of the season to grab your coat and a scarf. And grab yourself a bowl of soup or stew.Well I decided to do a chili, instead. But no carbs, just full of meat, veggies, and spices. This is great meal for someone who is gluten intolerant, low carbs, or keto.





Low Carb & Keto Friendly Chili


Ingredients


1 lb. grass fed ground beef

1/2 medium white onion, diced

1/2 green bell pepper, chopped

1 cup mushrooms, chopped

1 large tomato, diced

2 tsp liquid smoke

2 tsp chili powder

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp cumin powder

2 tsp smoke paprika

1 1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp black crushed peppercorn

1-2 tsp hot sauce (optional)


Directions


1. In a large pot or skillet, cook your ground meat on medium heat, until it's completely brown.

2. Add the minced garlic, liquid smoke, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Cook until the vegetables start to tender.

3. Add all the rest of the dry ingredients and the hot sauce (optional). You might want to add the tomatoes last so they don't get too soft and loose shape while you cook it.

4. You can top it with sour cream and cheese! Enjoy!
