Low Carbs & Keto Friendly Hamburger Buns

Want your cake and eat it too? Well, in this case hamburger buns without the high amounts of carbohydrates. This is a simple recipe and these buns can be used for hamburgers, club sandwiches, pulled pork sliders, or just cold cut deli meat sandwiches. Or whatever you want to create with them. These are 5.5 NET carbs per bun! You can't beat that! Go ahead have 2 hamburgers...I won't judge...
Low Carb & Keto Hamburger Buns
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp monkfruit sugar
2 tsp dry active yeast
2 tsp avocado oil
2 eggs
1 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 cup almond meal
1 cup vital gluten wheat
2 tbsp tapioca flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
Sesame seed to sprinkle on top
Directions:
Preheat the oven 375F
Grease a baking sheet (with parchment paper) or bun pans
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the warm water with the yeast until it's dissolved.
2. Add the monkfruit sugar, avocado oil, eggs, onion powder. Whisk until completely combined.
3. Add the almond flour, tapioca flour, baking powder, salt, and vital gluten with a spatula until it forms a dough.

4. Scoop in to your bun pans or a large ice cream scoop size of dough on to your baking sheet.
Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top of them. Let the buns rest for about 10-15 minutes.
5. Put them in the oven at 375F for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting them.

Where to buy bun pans:
Cut them in two and use them for hamburgers or whatever your heart desires!
