Holiday candies and candy canes everywhere! But you can have them in sugar free as well! This is a fun and easy recipe to make for those holiday candy cravings! Enjoy this with some sugar free ice cream or hot cocoa! I like to make homemade candies and leave them on a holiday dish and display them for people who walk by. Enjoy them with your family!
Sugar Free Peppermint Patties
Yields: 33 patties
Ingredients
2 cups powdered monkfruit sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, soften
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
1 tbsp heavy cream
pinch of sea salt
3.5 oz sugar free chocolate (for dipping)
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the monkfruit, soften butter, peppermint, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt. Mix until it forms a dough.

2. Roll the dough out in to a long log shape. About 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter. It's really your preference though.

3. Cut them in slices. About 1/2" thick or so. Lay on a parchment lined baking sheet. Chill them in the freezer until they are hard to the touch.

4. Melt down your favorite sugar free dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. I used ChocZero for the sugar free chocolate bars. Take the mints out of the freezer and dip them in the dark chocolate with a fork. Letting the chocolate flow between the fork's teeth. Then this way it helps prevent a chocolate foot.

5. Sprinkle Christmas sprinkles or dust them with cocoa powder. Chill in the freezer until the chocolate hardens.

This would make a wonderful Christmas gift for someone who is looking for a sugar free treat!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family this holiday season!
