Quick Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Yields: 8 rolls

Ingredients

1 cup water

2 eggs

1/2 cup raw honey

4 oz butter, melted

1/2 tsp sea salt

2 tsp baking soda

4 cups All purpose flour

Filling:

4 oz butter, softened

2 cups chopped gala apples, peeled and cored

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground cloves

2 cup golden monkfruit sweetener granulated

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F

grease a 9"x 13" baking pan

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the wet ingredients until combined. (water, eggs, honey, and melted butter)

  2. Then fold in the flour, sea salt, and baking soda with a spatula. Mix until it forms a sticky dough. Set aside, and make your filling. (see directions below)

3. On a piece of parchment paper, roll out your dough with a rolling pin in a rectangle shape to 1/4" or 1/2" thick. (if its too sticky, just dust some flour on top of the dough, before you roll it out) When rolling any dough always start from the middle and work your way out. So you have more of an even level dough.

4. Now with the 4 oz of soft butter, spread it all over your dough. Then add your filling evenly on top of the butter. Don't put the filling too close to the edges, otherwise it will spill out.

5. Then roll up your dough the long side of your rectangle. Then cut your dough about 2" thick and place face side up in your baking dish.

6. Bake your cinnamon rolls in the oven for 50-60 minutes. Let it sit for a 10 minutes and then drizzle with raw honey or make your favorite cream cheese icing.

**Filling:

1. In a mixing bowl, toss together the chopped apples, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, golden monkfruit sweetener.
